Authorization

Once Application and payment Details received by FIC Finance Team, I authorize Flint Islamic Center to withdraw the amount selected in Step 2 for membership dues + any additional monthly contribution.

Note: Monthly draft will be scheduled on the 20th Day of every month.

Terms & Conditions

Article V: Membership

Section l: Requirements of Membership
1. A person who does not believe in, accept, or adhere to and practice Islam according to the Holy Quran and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (SWT) may not become a member.
2. A member must be at least 18 years of age.
3. The term of the membership is one year (January-December) and is renewable.
4. An applicant must complete a membership application form.
5. An applicant must not be a member of any outlawed organization by US laws.
6. All membership applications must be approved by the Membership Committee of Flint Islamic Center. Membership application approval is at the sole discretion of the Membership Committee/ Central board.
7. All members must pay an annual membership fees set by the Central Board.
8. Every member shall recognize and acknowledge the authority, structure and system of the Flint Islamic Center and its by-laws and constitution.

Section II: Privileges
Any member is entitled to Flint Islamic Center benefits.

Section III: Withdrawal of Membership
Any member may resign or withdraw his/her membership upon a written letter to the Management Committee.

Section IV: Suspension of Membership
1. The Membership Committee may recommend to the Central Board the suspension or rejection of the application of membership in any of the occurrences:
A. Failure to pay membership fees.
B. Conviction of a member in a court of law for committing a criminal act.
C. Direct or indirect involvement of a member in any attempt to obstruct any of Flint Islamic Center's programs, activities and rules.
D. Dissemination by a member of any publications or leaflets, electronic or print, that may attack the integrity of Flint Islamic Center, any of its appointed or elected officers, staff, and volunteers, when acting in their official capacities.
E. Any activities that are perceived to be disruptive to the safety, unity and interests of the Flint Islamic Center.
2. The appeal of membership suspension/rejection:
Any suspended member or someone who had his/her membership rejected has the right to appeal within 30 calendar days to the Central Board. The Central Board's decision is final.
